NOTE: Specific questions regarding assignments or other course work should be directed to your prof or TA and will not be answered by technical support staff.


Sources of Help

  • Technical Support: System related problems or questions relating to CPSC accounts, system software, system security and hardware should be directed to the Technical Support Help Desk. You may contact the Help Desk in person by visiting Math Sciences 151, by phone at 220-6613 or via an Online Service Request . Help Desk is open Monday to Friday 08:30 - 12:00 and 13:00 - 16:30 (except holidays). .


  • General & Course Related Information: General and course related information is available from the Computer Science main office located in ICT 602. The main office staff are available to assist you from 08:30 - 12:00 and 13:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday (except holidays).


  • Tutorials: Continuous Tutorial, "CT", is available to help CPSC students with programming problems. This service is located in the North West corner of the Math Science 1st floor undergrad lab and is only available during the fall and winter semesters. Problems with assignment interpretation or design of programs are to be discussed with your Professors or TAs during lab or lecture time and not with the continuous tutorial instructor.
    231/233 Tutorials are available to help students specifically registered in either CPSC 231 or CPSC 233. .


  • Student Societies: In addition to enhancing the student experience through social events, the Computer Science Undergraduate Society (CSUS) and the Computer Science Graduate Society (CSGS) are available to assist students with academic issues and concerns.
