Department Research Awards
The CPSC Department offers a limited number of Department Research Awards. These are awarded competitively upon admission and annual re-registration. The current value is $6,000 for M.Sc. students and $8,000 for Ph.D. students. Students do not apply for these awards – they are allocated by the Graduate Committee using a funding policy that includes assessment of the student’s excellence and other funding. Excellence is judged based on the information in your program application, or, once you are in program, on your progress to date. Link to Department funding policy.
Many students are funded through a large variety of major and minor scholarships from Federal, Provincial, University, Departmental and private sources.
