Andrew Ginter is the Chief Security Officer at Industrial Defender, responsible for control systems security research. Andrew spent the early part of his career building and deploying control systems, and then did a stint with Hewlett Packard developing middleware to connect control systems to SAP systems. So he has a history of helping people connect control networks to enterprise networks, which is of course part of today's industrial security problem. Andrew was the product architect for Industrial Defender's security event management, intrusion detection, firewall management and control system product lines. Andrew holds applied math and computer science degrees from the University of Calgary, as well as CISSP, ISP and ITCP credentials.
